American indie-rock band The Mountain Goats performs at Kuudes Linja on Monday, October 5, 2026 - their first time in Finland. The band's latest album, the 23rd studio album Through This Fire Across from Peter Balkan, founded by John Darnielle in 1991, was released on November 7 on Darnielle's own label Cadmean Dawn. The album features guest appearances from Tommy Stinson of The Replacements and Lin-Manuel Miranda, among others.

The evening opens with singer-songwriter Craig Finn, best known as the frontman of The Hold Steady. His sixth studio album Always Been - produced by Adam Granduciel (The War On Drugs) - came out last spring and features guest appearances from Sam Fender and Kathleen Edwards.
