Reading Dog Tyyne

Reading dog Tyyne welcomes readers at Tapiola Library once a month on Thursdays: 20.8., 17.9., 15.10., 12.11., and 10.12.2026 from 18:00 to 19:00.

With Tyyne, you can read aloud at your own pace - the dog listens calmly and does not judge the reader for mistakes, slow reading, or hesitation. Reading to an animal can feel easier than reading to a person, and practising in a safe environment helps develop both reading skills and confidence.
