A Light Life is actor Miiko Toiviainen's personal performance about how a transgender past can become a source of happiness - a story of finding home within oneself, presented as a poetic and musical monologue.

Since its premiere (2019), the performance has toured dozens of venues across the Nordic region, reaching Stockholm. In February 2020 it won the National Monologue Competition, and that same spring Toiviainen was awarded Actor of the Year for the monologue.
