City of Light - Library Bus Wäinö

The library bus Wäinö stops at Lounaispuisto park for two evenings: Friday 2.10. and Saturday 3.10. from 20:00 to 23:00. Alongside Wäinö is a light art installation that combines with illustrations designed by illustrator and graphic designer Ina Majaniemi - illustrations created from ideas by children and young people in Jyväskylä, where the city's landmarks and art are given fairy-tale faces. Wäinö is an award-winning library bus, named Library Bus of the Year 2025.

At the library bus you can borrow, return, and place book reservations.
