Improvised Performance: Improv Book Club

Improv Book Club is a fully improvised performance where actors discuss their reading experiences, interpret literary works, and share their thoughts - until the characters, situations, and worlds from books begin to come alive on stage. The performance draws inspiration from an experience many recognize: reading books and reflecting on our own lives through fiction.

Improvisation is unscripted theatre that emerges in the moment through strong interaction and listening. The audience is not invited onto the stage but can enjoy the performance from their own seats.

The performance lasts 30 minutes. Performance language: Finnish. Actors: Katja Eskola, Nina Tikkanen, Sami Jukkara, and Sara Vogt. The event is organized by the improvisation group Luku Neljä.
