Kauri Honkakoski Company: HIGH TIDE [nousuvesi] - Premiere

HIGH TIDE [nousuvesi] is an apocalyptic drawing-room drama set on paradise's final shore. A group of reality-fleeing people enjoy an idyllic picnic while the world crumbles around them - how deep must one's head be buried in the sand to avoid seeing the rising tide?

The work is a wordless physical theatre ensemble piece that explores a tipping point: the moment when something reaches its absolute limit. Duration 60 minutes, age recommendation 12+.

During the performance week, three artist meetings are held: after the performances on 24 and 28 October in Finnish, and after the performance on 27 October in Swedish.
