Entanglement: I am a tree, I am a mouth

Entanglement collective's work installation explores the fragility of the connection between humans and trees. Movement, sound, and images together create a ritual centered on disappearing nature and a world shared with other species.

The work is based on the collective's field research in Kaarinas Vaarniemi's ancient oak forest, which is part of the Natura 2000 network. Visits to the forest have continued since 2022, and the material that has emerged from them raises questions about human responsibility in preserving biological diversity.
