Dance and Nature Workshops - for 5-8-year-olds and their accompanying adults — Vuotalon Pikkusali ja Vuosaaren alueen lähimetsät, Helsinki
Description was written before the event

Dance and nature workshops are designed for children aged 5-8 together with an accompanying adult. During the workshops, children play, move through dance activities, and explore the nearby forest together - themes range from imaginative play to stories, games, and forest walks. No previous dance experience is required. The instructors are dance artist and dance pedagogue Jenni Koistinen and dance artist and choreographer Virva Talonen.

The workshops are part of the University of Helsinki's "Art of Knowing" project, funded by the Kone Foundation. Participants are welcome to take part in research related to the project; for more information about the research: anna.rainio@helsinki.fi.

Meetings on Saturdays from 10.30 to 11.45. Dates: 22.8., 29.8., 5.9., 12.9., 19.9., 26.9., 3.10., 10.10., 24.10., and 7.11.2026. No session on 17.10.
