Original Student Festival 2026

Original Student Festival takes place at the Suvilahti festival area on Friday and Saturday, 4-5 September 2026. The event is open to all university students and student-minded people (K-18), regardless of field of study or institution.

Performers 🎤

Friday: Alina Burnet (16.15), Jaakko Kulta (17.30), Mouhous (19.15), Lauri Haav (21.00). Gates open at 15.30.

Saturday: Sex, Apparently (15.00), Sara Bee (16.15), Louna0nline (17.30), Averagekidluke / AKL (19.15), KUUMAA (21.00). Gates open at 14.30.

After each day there are afterparties: Haalarijatkot @Maxine (Fri & Sat at 22.00) and on Saturday Päätösbileet @Vanha Ylioppilastalo (at 22.00).

Activities 🎉

The area features a Pykälä Beer Pong Club (PBPC) throwing competition, Karaoke Caravan, and Lonkkuthon - the apron performance limit is 6 lonkkua and the ticket price is 5 €. More information and tickets for Lonkkuthon: read more and buy tickets.

Ticket prices increase as the event approaches. Payment at the event is by card only, no cash.

Wristband Exchange 📍

Those who purchased two-day tickets can exchange their wristband in advance:

The wristband is exchanged for a Kide.app ticket and placed directly on the wrist, so each ticket holder must be present in person. Do not use the ticket yourself until the inspector gives permission. Those arriving on Saturday with a two-day ticket can enter by showing their unused ticket at the gate - on Saturday the ticket is no longer exchanged for a wristband. The haalari badge is obtained at the wristband exchange point; with a one-day ticket at the area's info booth.
