Leppäkerttu Pilkuton

A small ladybug named Kerttuli sets out on an exploration of the garden and encounters other insects who wonder at her lack of spots. Kerttuli becomes sad until she meets an insect that has lost its leg.

The puppet theatre PikkuKulkuri's production is based on Niina Bell's children's book Leppäkerttu ilman pilkkuja. The theme of the performance is the experience of being different: why difference is rejected and how every person has value regardless of disability, gender, race, colour, nationality or other factors. The performance features familiar children's songs that the audience can sing along with to participate in the story.

The performance is best suited for children aged 2-8 and families.
