Purebred

Purebred is a Ukrainian monodrama with Finnish and English subtitles. The performance follows a person who begins to peel away everything that life, trauma, and external expectations have layered onto them - and asks what truly lies beneath that shell.

The work combines physical theatre, movement, and ritualistic stage language. Themes include addiction, depression, social pressure, the objectification of women, and identity. The performance offers no answers but leaves space for the viewer's own experience.
