Tasty Snack - Snack-Making Activity for Grades 3-9

In the Tasty Snack group, participants prepare simple and delicious snacks, treats, and dishes together. The programme includes quick and affordable snacks, surprising flavour trends from around the world, classic favourites, and recipes by request - snacks are made both as a team and individually. Have you ever tried baking bread yourself? What about making Boba tea, chocolate cookies, or tuna pasta?

The activity is free for participants and is aimed at students in grades 3-9. Groups start in week 37 from Monday, 7 September 2026 onwards and do not meet during school holidays. The activity runs throughout the school year, unless otherwise stated. Registration opens on Thursday, 27 August.

Everyone is welcome regardless of language skills, abilities, or previous hobby experience. When registering, you can mention your child's support needs or other matters to consider. You can also visit the groups before registering.

The activity is part of Espoo's hobby pathway, which implements Finland's national hobby model. The activities follow safer space principles, and the City of Espoo has insured the participants.
