The film tells the story of two women meeting in the midst of a healthcare crisis. Specialist nurse Inka (Laura Birn) works under demanding conditions while juggling pressures from her own family life. Leni's (Oona Airola) and Karin's (Jussi Vatanen) happiness fractures when their newborn is suddenly rushed to intensive care - and in a moment of uncertainty, Leni finds support in Inka. The nurses plan a strike for better working conditions, and both women must weigh the conflict between love and duty.
