Swedish for All? Professor Camilla Lindholm on Easy Swedish in Finland

An estimated 14 percent of Finland's population needs easy language to read, converse, and receive information. About 30,000 of these people need easy Swedish.

As part of Swedish Week, Lindholm, a professor at Tampere University, explains what easy language actually is, who needs it, and what we can all do to make our speech and writing as understandable as possible.

The lecture is based on the book Easy Swedish in Finland, which is freely available online on the publisher SLS's website and as a physical book.
