In the ninth part of the novel series, the narrator's beloved is dead, and for three hundred pages we follow circular musings: would Albertine have lived if the narrator had gone to the dance or not boarded the train at 1:05 p.m.? About a hundred years later, Aleksi and Hanna-Kaisa have worked with Marcel's words and their own friendship for nine years, and now they dive into the depths of Proustian autofiction and the subjunctive mood. What remains unprocessed? Why was the fourth part so terrible? Which was the bigger mistake - getting an apartment or having a child? How many Ikea bags fit eight performances?

The nine-hour performance KAE 2017-2027 TOTAL WOD takes place only once in the social building of Hanasaari's closed coal power plant on Sunday 18.10.2026 from 12 to 21. Tickets for three and nine hours are available. Audience capacity is limited.

In Search of Lost Time 2017-2027 is a ten-part performance series by Holkko and Tiainen, based on Marcel Proust's novel series. Each part has found a place and form that Proust's text seems to suggest. Eight previous performances have been shown in taxis, a restaurant, an apartment viewing, and a gay sauna.

Accessibility: the building is not accessible. It has height differences, steep stairs, and narrow passages, and tours are not accessible for wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
