Opening of the Exhibition "The Artist Jonas Heiska"

The opening programme features music, poetry recitation, and an exhibition presentation. At 12.00, the Jyväskylä Salon Orchestra performs Finnish classical music from the early years of the Jyväskylä Amateur Orchestra, founded in 1916, and from recent years - conducted by Janette Rantanen. At 13.00, the exhibition "The Artist Jonas Heiska" is presented, and at 13.30, the group Jyväskylä Sana-Sepot recites passages from Aleksis Kivi's novel "The Seven Brothers", which also inspired Heiska. Dramaturgy and direction are handled by Hellevi Piispanen.

Guided tours of Heiska's artist house are held at 14.15-15.00 and 15.15-16.00.
