ARTKILLS, Melankolia, Lust For Lily

Three Finnish metal bands take the stage at Semifinal in Helsinki. ARTKILLS is a Helsinki-based metal band founded in 2020, known for heavy riffs, grooves, and melodies that blend modern metal with an old school attitude. Their debut single Last Goodbyes quickly accumulated tens of thousands of streams, and subsequent releases like The Game, the remix collection Remix That Shi#t, and the EP KillGallery have solidified the band's standing.

MELANKOLIA is a dark metal band from Oulu. The four members started playing as teenagers, went their separate ways for a decade, and relaunched the band in late 2024. Their first single Blue was chosen as YleX's Anne Lainto ❤️ Rock's newcomer of the week, and in early 2026 the band was added to the Future Creators list. KaaosZine has named MELANKOLIA one of the most compelling young metal bands right now. Their debut EP Step 1: I Admit I'm a Melancholic was released in March 2026.

Lust For Lily was founded in 2022 in Tuusula and combines melodic vulnerability with sharp riffs and dynamic arrangements within the new wave metalcore scene.
