A Moment Before Light

Thu 17.9. at 15.00 Tähti Kino presents Klaus Härö's new film A Moment Before Light.

The film follows two women in the midst of a healthcare crisis. Specialist nurse Inka (Laura Birn) works under demanding conditions while balancing family life. Leni (Oona Airola) and Karin (Jussi Vatanen) find their happiness strained when their newborn is suddenly rushed to intensive care - and in that moment of uncertainty, Leni finds support in Inka. Meanwhile, nurses are planning a strike for better working conditions. Both women act out of love and duty, but making the right choice is not easy when both their own lives and those of others hang in the balance.
