Peer Instructor Training in Physical Activity

Karkkila's physical activity services and workers' institute jointly organize peer instructor training courses suitable for both experienced instructors, beginners, and outdoor enthusiasts interested in peer activity work. The courses introduce various targeted forms of physical activity. Participation is free and does not commit you to actual peer instructor work.

Autumn term courses:
Fri 25.9.2026 12.30-14 - Warm-up and cool-down exercises. Senior fitness centre, Kunto Kaari, Service Centre, Nyhkäläntie 39
Fri 13.11.2026 13-14.30 - Exercise safely. Högfors sports hall, Valtatie 22

An outdoor enthusiast instructor course is also coming this autumn, and two peer instructor courses are planned for spring 2027 - exact dates will be confirmed later. Follow announcements from Physical Activity Services, the Workers' Institute, and Karkkila city.
