University for the Elderly: Eekku Aromaa

University for the Elderly - autumn 2026 / spring 2027

A lecture series organized by the Workers' Institute covering world politics, environment, and economics. The series presents overviews of Finland's situation, global conflicts, equality, and environmental issues. Lectures are held on Thursdays from 14.00 to 15.30 in the dining hall of the Service Centre (Nyhkäläntie 39).

The series opens on 1.10.2026 with Secretary General Eekku Aromaa speaking on "Equality and unity in a changing world". Buns and coffee cost 4 euros and are paid in cash.
