Sports Afternoon Kuopio 30.9.2026

The University of Eastern Finland and Savonia University of Applied Sciences jointly organize a sports afternoon in Kuopio on Wednesday, 30.9.2026. By decision of the rectors, classes are cancelled from 12:15 onwards.

In addition to regular SYKETTÄ activities, a wide range of sports activities and special offers are available at sports facilities for students and staff. Some sports are fee-based and participation numbers are limited, so early registration is recommended. Registrations via the sports calendar open one week before the event, with registration times varying by activity.

The programme was published on 15.9.2026. In addition to Kuopio, activities are offered at Savonia's campuses in Iisalmi and Varkaus. Changes are possible.
