Norwegian jazz saxophonist Marius Neset performs with his quartet at G Livelab. The music blends composition and improvisation in a rhythmically energetic jazz experience.
Anton Eger (born 9 December 1980 in Oslo) is a Norwegian-Swedish drummer and composer who has spent most of his career based in Copenhagen. He trained at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory there under Django Bates, and went on to become a founding member of the Anglo-Scandinavian trio Phronesis - alongside bassist Jasper Høiby and pianist Ivo Neame - which won the UK Parliamentary Jazz Award for Jazz Ensemble of the Year in 2017 and received two MOBO nominations. His 2019 solo debut 'Æ' (Edition Records), co-produced with Petter Eldh, pushed well beyond jazz into electronically driven avant-fusion.
Eger appeared as a sideperson on new releases on ACT Music and April Records in 2025.
Phronesis announced an extended break from touring and recording in January 2020 to allow members to focus on individual projects.
