About

Dark Sarah is a Finnish cinematic metal band formed in 2012 by classically trained lyric soprano Heidi Parviainen after she left Amberian Dawn. The band builds its albums as interconnected concept stories - each release comes with its own short story book - and has put out five studio albums on Napalm Records, all crowdfunded via Indiegogo. Their sound weaves symphonic metal with film-score orchestration and, on later records, synth-pop textures.
