About

Hevisaurus is a Finnish children's heavy metal band founded in 2009 on drummer Mirka Rantanen's idea of combining hard rock energy with kid-friendly content. The five members perform in dinosaur costumes as characters Herra Hevisaurus, Milli Pilli, Muffi Puffi, Komppi Momppi and Riffi Raffi. The band has released nine studio albums, won the Emma Award for best children's album twice, and made a feature film (2015) alongside several musicals at Helsinki's Peacock Theatre.

    Hevisaurus released their ninth studio album 'Maailmankiertueella' on 28 February 2025 via Sony Music Finland.

    The single 'Kalloween' was released on 16 October 2024 as a preview of the then-upcoming album.
