About

HUIPPU is a Finnish folk music ensemble that broke through with their debut album in spring 2025 and performances at the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival showcase. The album earned a nomination at the Musiikinkustantajat gala, and in January 2026 the group was named Newcomer of the Year at the Eläköön Folk! gala. Their second album is due in autumn 2026.
