About

Isabelle van Keulen (born 1966, Mijdrecht, Netherlands) is a Dutch violinist and violist who has built an international career on both instruments - a rare double distinction on the major concert stages. She has performed as soloist with the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the NHK Symphony Orchestra Tokyo, and since 2019 has served as artistic director of the Deutsche Kammerakademie Neuss am Rhein. Her range spans Baroque to contemporary premieres, and she founded the Isabelle van Keulen Ensemble in 2011 to explore Astor Piazzolla's tango nuevo.
