Krisiun is a Brazilian death metal trio formed in 1990 in Ijuí, Rio Grande do Sul, by brothers Alex Camargo (bass, vocals), Moyses Kolesne (guitar) and Max Kolesne (drums). The band's name comes from the lunar basin Mare Crisium - Latin for 'sea of crisis'. Signed to Century Media in 1999, they have released twelve studio albums and built a reputation for relentless speed, technical precision and uncompromising live performances across North America, Europe and beyond.
Krisiun announced a fall 2025 North American tour (November 1 - December 1) performing their 2000 album Conquerors of Armageddon in its entirety to mark its 25th anniversary.
Krisiun updated their 2025 schedule to include European summer festival dates in July and August, followed by shows in Asia, Australia, and Brazil.
Krisiun toured North America in September 2024 as support for Deicide, playing dates across Atlanta, Cleveland, Baltimore, Brooklyn and other cities.
Krisiun released their twelfth studio album Mortem Solis on July 29, 2022 via Century Media Records, produced and mixed by Mark Lewis.
Their tenth studio album Scourge of the Enthroned (September 2018, Century Media) charted in Belgium, Germany and Switzerland.
