Laid Back is a Danish electronic pop duo from Copenhagen, formed in 1979 by John Guldberg and Tim Stahl. The pair broke internationally with 'Sunshine Reggae' (1983), which hit number one in West Germany, Austria and 21 other countries, while the B-side 'White Horse' topped the US Billboard Dance chart. Their 1989 comeback single 'Bakerman' - with a skydiving video directed by Lars von Trier - kept them on European charts, and they have continued releasing albums ever since, most recently 'Forevergreen' (2024) to mark their 45th anniversary.
Laid Back released 'Forevergreen', a 12-track covers album on LP and CD, as a limited hand-numbered edition of 1000 copies to mark their 45th anniversary.
The 'Forevergreen' album was released on October 18, 2024, featuring the duo's own versions of classic songs including Beatles and Jimi Hendrix material.
