Luna Kills is a Finnish alternative metal band from Kuopio, formed in 2019 and fronted by vocalist Lotta Ruutiainen, whose background spans jazz singing and fry-scream technique. The band blends nu-metal, metalcore and electronic elements with a sound partly inspired by video game soundtracks, and released their debut full-length album DEATHMATCH via SharpTone Records in April 2025 - the label's first Finnish signing.
Luna Kills released a new single 'LOWER' in June 2026, mixed and mastered again by Jeff Dunne, and announced an autumn 2026 European tour.
The band's autumn 2026 tour includes dates in Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Gothenburg, Oslo, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Amsterdam and Cologne, among others.
Luna Kills released their debut album DEATHMATCH on April 4, 2025 via SharpTone Records, celebrating with a sold-out release show at On the Rocks in Helsinki.
The band completed their first-ever headline European and UK tour in May 2025, covering cities including Hamburg, London, Zurich, Munich, Vienna and Prague.
Luna Kills was announced to perform at the Hellsinki Metal Festival at Helsinki Ice Hall in August 2025.
