Tango del norte is a Finnish tango ensemble founded in 2011, originally inspired by the music of Astor Piazzolla. Their repertoire spans Argentine and Finnish tango classics as well as Piazzolla's works, and they have released three albums: Raíces de pasión (2016), Solos & Duos (2018) and Argentiinalaisittain (2025). Bandoneonist Sami Pirttilahti won the "Che Bandoneon" competition in the USA in 2018, and the ensemble placed second in an Italian Piazzolla competition in 2021.
