New residential and commercial development is planned for the Siltamäki shopping centre and its adjacent plots. The existing buildings in the centre are to be demolished.

The draft master plan for the area is available for public review from 3.6 to 2.7.2026 at hel.fi/suunnitelmat.

The draft master plan will be presented to residents at a public meeting at Siltamäki Parish Hall (Jousimiehentie 5) on Thursday 11.6.2026 from 17:00 to 18:30.
