Stoa's square fills with circus art on Helsinki Day as Pro sirkus ry presents the preview party for Helsinki Circus Festival from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Welcome to a unique circus event featuring spectacular performances. The diverse programme combines traditional circus with contemporary stage art - joy and experiences await for all ages!

Beyond the performances, Stoa's square will be filled with festival atmosphere: soap bubbles, popcorn and circus-themed workshops await.

Blind Gut Company's wild street circus show Viihdy! Viihdy! Viihdy! brings the ancient jester tradition to the present day. In this performance, reminiscent of a market stall, the audience can order different circus experiences for themselves: acrobatics, juggling, surprises and interactive acts where spectators can become part of the show.

Kalle Lehto, one of the founders of Race Horse Company, delivers fast-paced acrobatics. His energetic numbers feature acrobatics with exercise balls and hobby horses - surprises, humour and impressive physical skill await.

The atmosphere takes on calmer and more hypnotic tones when Olli Vuorinen (Nuua Company) leads the audience into an abstract juggling work. The repetitive movement of rings, the body's transforming shapes and slowly building patterns create a meditative experience where contemporary circus becomes almost a dancing visual stream.

Airborne grace and strength transport spectators momentarily beyond everyday life when Haidi Ilona presents solo compositions on trapeze and spiral. In her movement language, contemporary dance and aerial acrobatics blend seamlessly into a poetic and compelling whole.
