Baby Morning: Finger Painting

Welcome to finger painting for babies on 15.6. at 10:00. Bring a change of clothes and a towel.

The Strömberg playground's baby mornings are open to all babies around 0-1 years old! At baby mornings there is an opportunity to meet other families and get peer support as well as discuss life as a baby family. At 10:30 a short nursery rhyme, song or exercise session.

At baby mornings, crawling and toddling children can participate together with a parent in play, movement, exploration and expression through music, movement, craft and story sessions.

Parents have the opportunity to get to know other families with children and children get playmates. Parents and children can participate in planning and implementing activities together with the leaders. Opportunity to warm your own food and make coffee/tea.

Activities in June:

The Strömberg playground is open in June 1.6.-26.6.2026 Mon-Fri 9:00-16:00. Toys are available in June 9:00-15:30. In July the Strömberg playground is closed.

In the mornings, sessions for families with small children are held at 10:00. For school children, guided activities are held at 14:00, such as yard games, board games or crafts. School children who come to the site can influence the content of the activities.

In June, summer meals are served at the Strömberg playground for all children under 16 years old. Meals are served Mon-Fri at 12:00. Meals are free. You need to bring your own plate, cutlery and drinking bottle. Summer menus can be found here: Aromi.

The weekly summer programme can be found on the Strömberg playground's Facebook or Instagram pages, the park's notice board, the Leikeparker app or Helsinki's event calendar.

The Strömberg playground also has indoor spaces where it is possible to warm food and make coffee.
