Asema elää! 2026
Petäjäveden Vanha Asemamakasiini, Petäjävesi
Asema elää! 2026 is a two-day music festival at Petäjävesi Old Station Warehouse.
Friday 24.7 features:
Mary Ann Hawkins is a five-piece band from Helsinki that blends surf rock and traditional rock into an energetic and visual whole. The band's second album "Helsinki Surf City" (2025) is a twelve-song journey into the world of Mary Ann Hawkins - where foam crests crash against Helsinki's skyscrapers and the city's sounds beckon into the whirlwind of rock 'n' roll.
Janne Westerlund is a seasoned musician (including Circle, Plain Ride) whose solo work reveals unique depth and sensitivity for our time. The album "Sisar", released in November, received an excellent four-star rating, including in Helsingin Sanomat. At Asema, Janne Westerlund performs as a soloist.
The Mutka band has earned well-deserved attention with two single releases. Mutka performs atmospheric indie-folk, and the band's airy sound combined with skillful arrangements make an impression.
Saturday 25.7 features:
Rebekka Holi - a versatile singer and songwriter whose music combines tender expression and strong personality. The artist's third album "Vyöry" (autumn 2025) reinforced the image of a rarely gifted and imaginative artist. Rebekka Holi's concerts are always surprising and unpredictable. Best to come and see for yourself!
Samae Koskinen, a familiar face among Finnish singers and songwriters, whose solo career has included radio hits and storytelling with conviction. Samae is currently preparing a new album that may be released in time for the Asema Elää! festival.
Viive from Jyväskylä is a collaboration between singer and keyboardist Riikka Suutari and multi-instrumentalist Antti Niiranen, which has developed into a four-piece band. The band's music, drawing on jazz and contemporary soul influences, feels like a film soundtrack. The band's debut album "Sen jälkeen kun" was released in 2024.
