Summer Super-Ysärit: Maxx (GER), Technotronic (BEL), Waldo's People, Dj Tee

Summer Super-Ysärit is a new summer festival coming to Kuopio in 2026. The event takes place on Friday, 31.7.2026 at Väinölänniemi beach, organized by Kuopio-based companies Timba Oy and Real Albert Promotion. The January Super-Ysärit event has already been held 11 times, and now it expands to the summer season.

The stage features eurodance acts Maxx (GER), Technotronic (BEL), and Waldo's People, with Dj Tee hosting the evening. Maxx is known for hits "Get-A-Way" and "No More (I Can't Stand It)" - "Get-A-Way" has accumulated over 170 million plays on Youtube. Technotronic broke through in 1988 with "Pump Up the Jam", which reached number one on charts in many countries. Waldo's People represented Finland at Eurovision 2009 with "Lose Control".

Accessibility: Assistants receive free entry with the person they are assisting on the same ticket. Wheelchair access is not available, but an accessible toilet is located at the venue. Cafe Väinö's terrace serves as a wheelchair viewing area with limited sight lines to the stage.
