Millions Of Dead Cops, founded in Austin, Texas in 1979, is known for the classic "John Wayne Was A N*zi" with its legendary bass line that cannot be forgotten once heard. MDC, which has indelibly shaped punk culture, actively criticizes authority, homophobia, capitalism, and American culture in its lyrics.
Tampere's Kohu-63 was once the perfect prototype of a punk band. It deliberately irritated, resisted everything, and feared nothing, not even harsh venues. Moreover, it was one of the toughest bands of its time. Kohu-63 continues to operate. Yet the band, led by Arto "Lättä" Hyytiäinen, has not engaged in any yo-yo-like comeback movement but has functioned independently, doing what it wants regardless of how much the world has changed in 50 years. Kohu-63's album Korkeapaineistettu Hullujen huone is undoubtedly one of the toughest classic albums of its era, hard from start to finish. At Tavara-asema, a special 50th anniversary concert of Kohu-63 will be held!
Terveet Kädet was founded in 1979 in Tornio and was Finland's first hardcore punk band. Terveet Kädet is best known for its straightforward, often just 30-second songs from the early 1980s.
The band has achieved cult status in HC punk circles worldwide. For instance, Sepultura/Soulfly musician Max Cavalera has stated that this band is his favorite. Terveet Kädet is currently finishing its next album, which will premiere
