Invasive Species Work Days at Pornaistenniemi and Lammassaari

The Helsinki Nature Conservation Association and the City of Helsinki are organizing joint work days to combat giant hogweed at Pornaistenniemi, Arabianranta, and Lammassaari.

Bring your own gardening gloves (if you have them), weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear, and drinking water. The City of Helsinki will provide light refreshments for participants.

We meet at the dog park on Pornaistenniemi. You can reach the location by public transport: buses 57, 71, 78, and 506 (Museum of Technology stop, 600 m walk) or trams 6 and 8T (Arabianranta terminal, 1.1 km walk).
