Elton John Tribute Concert

Masterpiece Orchestra, conducted by Lasse Hirvi, presents a concert programme of Elton John's music. The concert is a follow-up to the successful Stevie Wonder tribute at the Jyväskylä Kesä 2025 festival, which the same ensemble performed.

The soloists on stage are Antti Kleemola and Emma Balbatsu. Kleemola is a singer, songwriter, and band educator who has composed songs for numerous artists, released his own albums, and participated in Finland's Eurovision final. Balbatsu is a singer and vocal coach from Jyväskylä, known for her long-standing work with the party band Gringo and the concert series "A Night of Adele".

Lasse Hirvi has worked as a professional pianist since 1979. He served as conductor of the Helsinki City Theatre from 1989 to 2014, then moved to become conductor of the Jyväskylä City Theatre in 2014.
