Odivo Theatre: The Wolf That Fell Out of a Book - SAMPO Festival
A puppet theatre story about belonging, accompanied by live music.
Has a wolf ever fallen out of your favourite book? What a predicament! Now the wolf is lost and wanders through the pages aimlessly - roaming the wild world from prehistoric times to dinosaurs, knocking on Snow White's door and meeting a wolf pack. How many letters and pictures must be jumped over, and how many wolf tricks must be invented before the wolf finds a new home? The performance is suitable for children over 4 years old.
Morning performances for child groups are held on Wed 26. and Thu 27.8. at 10.00. Registration is at kultus.hel.fi from 3.8. onwards, and individual tickets can also be purchased on the Puppet Theatre Sampo website. The Wednesday evening performance at 17.00 is open to all - tickets are sold by Puppet Theatre Sampo. Ticket price: 15 €; support ticket: 20 €.

The SAMPO Festival is an international festival of visual theatre and puppet theatre held for the tenth time in Helsinki and the metropolitan area. This year the programme features performances and workshops for children and adults from Canada, France, Italy, Slovakia and Ukraine.
The festival programme includes three performances from the Transport series addressing globalisation and sustainable development from Estonia, Lithuania and Czechia, as well as the Italian Teatro del Dragon work Golem - e fango è il mondo, which was awarded at the Venice Biennale. There are also performances from domestic puppet theatre. The SAMPO Festival brings several international creators and performances to Finland for the first time.
