First-Time Mothers' Group

The First-Time Mothers' Group is a peer support group where you can share thoughts, feelings, and experiences related to your first child and becoming a mother. Half of the meetings are facilitated, and group members can influence the content. The aim is for the group to continue the remaining meetings independently.

If the group's meeting time coincides with your baby's daytime nap, you can leave your baby sleeping in the pram outside the window of the room where the group meets, or bring the baby inside to sleep in a cot. At the first meeting, the centre provides coffee and tea.

The activity is organized by the City of Helsinki and is free for families.
