KEMUT - Summer Music

KEMUT is a free music class for children aged 2-6 years with their parents. The sessions are led by Sibelius Academy master's students Taina and Anniina.

The programme includes singing, playing instruments, movement and games - each session organised around a specific theme. The activities support children's creativity, social skills and musical development.

Places are limited, and the free ticket must be booked from the Music House ticket office. Tickets open for booking on 20.7 at 13.00. The ticket is booked only for the child - it entitles them to participate up close and use the instruments. You can also come without a ticket to observe: singing and playing along from a distance is possible even if the instruments are only available for those who have booked a ticket.

Participation in the music class always takes place under the supervision of an adult, and the child remains under their adult's responsibility at all times. The class is conducted in Finnish, but English is used as a support language if needed - language skills are not a barrier to participation.
