took place · 3 Aug 2026
Description was written before the event
Keuruu's old church, built in 1756-1759 and Central Finland's oldest wooden church, is open daily from 13 June, 11:00-16:00. The church is closed on Midsummer's Eve. Keuruu Museum is responsible for opening hours and guided tours.
Admission costs 4 €; visitors under 18 enter free. Payment is accepted in cash or by card. Outside opening hours, tours can be arranged through the museum, and groups can book guided visits to other Keuruu churches in advance. Pricing and contact details are available at keuruu.fi/museo.
From 18 June, the old church and churchyard host one section of the multi-location art exhibition "Luonnonvoimaa II - Puut puhuvat". More information about the exhibition is available on the same website.
