South Helsinki Adult Education Centre: Multi-arts Club for 10-12-Year-Olds - Ages 10-12, Born 2014-2016

The multi-arts club is designed for 10-12-year-olds interested in creative hands-on making - no previous craft or visual art experience is required.

On Monday afternoons, participants work in the club through material experimentation and playful exploration. Techniques may include collage, drawing, painting, modelling, hand embroidery, weaving, and other fiber and thread work. The same project typically continues for 1-3 club sessions, and the course content develops based on the children's interests. The club makes extensive use of recycled materials. Participation is also possible with a personal assistant. The language of instruction is Finnish.

The course suits children who can work in a group following the teacher's guidance. A corresponding course is also offered in spring semester 2027.
