Heikki Salo is best known as the frontman of the band Miljoonasade, but he has also worked in many other bands such as SaloRantala Soi with Iiro Rantala and Herra Heinämäen Lato-orkesteri. He has released solo albums, books, plays, film and television scripts. Salo has been awarded the Junnu Vainio and Reino Helismaa prizes as well as the state arts award. Heikki is currently writing a musical whose music consists of songs from Miljoonasade. The premiere is scheduled for autumn 2027.
