Reading Dog Ebba at Kallio Library

Want to practice reading aloud? Reading dog Ebba is a patient listener who makes reading stress-free.

In autumn 2026, you can read aloud to Ebba at Kallio Library every other Tuesday from 14:00 to 15:15. Sessions are held in the library's group room Kontio (1st floor). Ebba's handler is present during the session but does not intervene. You can read from your own book or choose from the library's collection. The session suits everyone over 6 years old - including adults - and you can read in any language.
