Annantalo Art Saturday: All the Lost Creatures

At Annantalo Art Saturday, the whole family can spend time together with art in open workshops - you can drop by briefly or stay longer.

Annantalo opens a mysterious museum space for one day. Have you ever seen an ancient giant's claw, a gigantic gargoyle's tooth, or a petrified flying glider's brain? In the art workshop, you create your own image of a lost creature, and the finished works are displayed in Annantalo's windows as part of the shared Spectrum light artwork.

Spectrum is being realized in Annantalo's workshops and art groups in autumn 2026. All the Lost Creatures is one of many workshops where different parts of the work are developed - in this case, window artworks placed on the Annankatu side, glowing in spectrum colours. The opening of the Spectrum light artwork is on 9.12. at 18:00.

No previous experience is needed to participate, and the workshop suits all languages. Children can be provided with hearing protection and other sensory aids if needed, and there is also a quiet room available. Art Saturday is free and led by Annantalo's art educators.
