Tanssin Aika 2026: Yön Lintu - Nocturnal Bird - Stuorra Skuolfi

The festival's Saturday evening features two performances on a single ticket: first, Gáddjá Haarla's dance solo Yön Lintu, followed by a concert with Hilda Länsmanin and Tuomas Norvio. One ticket grants access to both.

Yön Lintu explores the endangered eagle owl (Bubo Bubo) searching for its place. The performance plays with the owl's theatrical appearance and then inverts the narrative - the theatrical mask's magic dissolves and something else emerges. The work weaves together contradictions and uses dance as a tool to tell a complex story.
