Extracts of Hope is a vertical dance work by Heidi Miik exploring freedom, courage and radical hope - dreams and rebellion through movement.

The site-specific work dialogues with local architecture: vertical dance brings buildings to life from a new perspective and emphasizes their unique character by defying gravity. The work investigates themes of action and hope, as well as the power of community and individual - what we wish to preserve, what holds meaning, and how to find hope toward a better future.
