Malmitalo Multicultural Women's Choir

A new singing group for women is starting at Malmitalo. The group is designed especially for women with immigrant backgrounds, but Finnish-speaking women are also welcome. You can bring songs from your own culture and learn songs from different countries.

The group is taught by music educator Mirva Soininen, who also leads the World Music Choir Sawa Sawa at the Workers' Institute premises.

Participation is free, but you must register for the group. Registration is available via a link or at the Helsinki Workers' Institute customer service point (Malmitalo, 1st floor). You can also come directly to the first session - the teacher will help you with registration on site.

The group meets every other Monday in Isoluokassa (Workers' Institute corridor, 1st floor):
