Ilmavoimien Big Band & Olli Soikkeli: DJANGO!

Ilmavoimien Big Band and guitarist Olli Soikkeli bring Django Reinhardt's legacy to Kuopio on 10 September at 19:00 at Ohjelmaravintola Maxim. Conductor Mikko Hassinen leads the ensemble. The concert combines big band arrangements with gypsy jazz improvisation, and it marks Ilmavoimien Big Band's only Finnish date. The restaurant opens at 16:00, so you can arrive early for dinner. Tickets start from 29.50 euros, and the event ticket also serves as a public transport pass on Vilkun buses from 16:00 on the day of the concert.
